I purchased this bike 3 months ago from the store in Toronto. I live downtown Toronto, but I recently got a job in an industrial park near Pearson Airport. The commute by public transit is practically impossible, and by car can take a long time due to rush-hour traffic. This is why I bought this bike. Now I can ride to the train station fold it into the train, get off near the industrial park, unfold the bike in 20 seconds and ride the last 5 km to work.
If it’s raining, sometimes I get a cab. Being able to fold my bicycle into the trunk of any car is also a game changer!
I think this bike is perfect for commuting, it’s a lot more stable than an electric scooter thanks to its larger wheels but also very compact and easy to move around when folded.
The bike itself feels robust, the hydraulic disc brakes are a great safety feature. I wouldn’t want to ride it for more than 20 km at a time, due to comfort (stiff saddle and no suspensions), but overall it’s a fantastic bicycle.
I strongly recommend purchasing a Kryptonite evolution standard U-lock. It fits perfectly over the battery so you can lock the bike and the battery at the same time.
Worth every penny! The bike is well-built, and the customer service was exceptional, totally recommend.
Bike is really good, but I wish it could improve on speed and make more colour options, otherwise recommend.
Best investment I've made selling my car and buying this, I feel less guilty everytime I fill my car up with gas.
Overall, a good bike for the price. The battery life could be improved because I only get around 4 hours, but it's still worth the investment.
